The inspiration from this piece come from my past. When I was growing up, I had this feeling of invisibility. I felt like no one saw me and that I held little importance in this world. I felt like one of those black and white shows that people from my generation didn't watch much. I was completely enveloped with this feeling. This piece depicts that black and white feeling of invisibility yet surrounded by the colorful world that I finally see in adulthood.
